Before production each ship is thoroughly researched for accuracy and detail. Skilled model builders prepare a master figure from which all subsequent molds will be formed. We use only the best lead-free alloys and reject any casting that does not meet our strict standards. We are proud to present these models for your enjoyment for wargaming, collecting, diorama building and silhouette recognition.
We hope to provide a photo for every model in this website some day, but that will take time. For now, please be advised that models with prices that end in .00 (For example, $5.00 or $6.00) were some of the first ships we created in the early 1990's and no longer reflect our state-of-the-art. They are good for gaming, but don't have the same detail as the rest of the range. We would have discontinued them until they could be replaced with better versions, but customers keep asking for them and they are still better than most of our competitors.
Some of you may wonder why we charge the same for a package whether it has big ships or little ones in it. Since the little ones do not require as much metal, why do they cost almost as much as the big ones? The answer is that it often takes just as much time, money and effort to design, cast and package the little ones as it does to produce the big ones.
Ships with price codes that end in .95 are highly-detailed. Ships with stock codes that start with the prefix SB were designed by Dr. Peter Krtina and are the best models on the market, bar none. We manufacture his Sea Battle range of 1/2400 scale ships here in the U.S. under license. We make everything in our shop, so when you order from us you will not have to wait for some distributor to hold onto your money while they send off to Europe for your figures.
The number in parenthesis indicates the number of models in the package.
